Consultant Hand & Wrist Surgeon
James qualified from St. Thomas’s Hospital in 1989 and had surgical training in Oxford and London before moving to Cambridge for Orthopaedic training in East Anglia.  He returned to Oxford for specialist training in Hand Surgery and was first appointed to a consultant post in the year 2000 he was appointed to the staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital as a Consultant Hand Surgeon in 2005.
He has research papers published on wound healing, scaphoid fractures and carpal tunnel syndrome surgery.
James is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.  He is also a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and Member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
